This Ferrari was built in late 1951 and recorded by Ferrari as the first "plus-two" seat example completed by the firm.

Normal Vignale Coachwork on a long-wheelbase chassis incorporated two small occasional use back seats.

Assembly of the car was completed over the Winter of 1951-1952. The car was then sold new on February 27, 1952 to Officine Fonderia Carniti in Milan, Italy.

Sold and re-registered on January 27, 1953 to Sig. Erasmo Segalo of Vernona, Italy. The new targa or "plates" were "VE 33361."

In mid-1955, the car was purchased by an American enthusiast on holiday and privately exported / imported to Denver, Colorado.

The car remained in Denver until purchased by Avery Greene in January of 1965. Greene drove the car from Denver to his home in Vallejo, California.

Ten years later, after faithful use a friend of his, Donald W. Johnson purchased the car (sometime in 1975) and took it to his home in Diablo, California.

The car was mostly original at this point and began receiving some restoration work which was not completed when the car was sold to Steve Patience in 1977.

Patience was a resident of Danville, California. The car then went to Larry Russo of San Francisco in 1982 and again traded hands to fellow SF resident, Dick Wilson in 1986.

These last three owners never drove the car and it remained unrestored until being purchased by Brad Hallock of Lafayette, California in 1990.

The car was finally given a complete restoration and finished in late 1992.

While still owned by Hallock, the car was offered for sale by a variety of different dealers and brokers for $445,000 US dollars.

The car was purchased in June of 1995 by Symbolic Motor Car Company. It was then sold to a client in Japan who used it publicly on just two occasions before we re-purchased the car in early August 2006.

The car is now back in the States with all US duty and importation fees and expenses paid in full.
