| Estimate: $700,000-$1,000,000 US Sold: $700,000 The Packard Panther-Daytona is undoubtedly one of the most eye catching concept cars to emerge from Detroit in the 1950s. Unlike the Caribbean, however, which it succeeded, the Panther-Daytona was never put into full production and only four examples were ever built, of which this is the only roadster. Following its show car career, it was modified for the personal use of Mitchell-Bentley executive William Mitchell, Sr. and, as such, received special trim and a removable hardtop to complement its low, aerodynamic profile.
Addendum Please note that this car is being sold on a Bill of Sale only.
