The Shelby GT500 is an iconic American automobile of the 1960s. Little wonder then that under the influence of Ford design chief, J Mays, it was part of Ford's "Retrofuturism" programme. The second generation Shelby GT500 was launched at the 2005 New York International Auto Show with a dynamic 5.4 litre supercharged V8 engine. It has Tremec TR-6060 6-speed manual transmission, suspension tuning and sits on 18 inch alloys. It was available in limited numbers for a three year period. A convertible version was also quickly available.

This stunning Shelby GT500 convertible is beautifully presented, in excellent condition and comes complete with all its books and manuals. A modern muscle car with its top off - perfect for just riding along in my automobile listening to Chuck Berry. Completely original unmodified car with the exception of enhanced lowered suspension and Ford Racing FR wheels (not shown in photographs). This vehicle was converted to right hand drive by Performax Queensland. It has covered 46,629 kilometres. Its current NSW registration 07 CONV is transferable.
