| The Shelby GT500 is an iconic American automobile of the 1960s. Little wonder then that under the influence of Ford design chief, J Mays, it was part of Ford's "Retrofuturism" programme. The second generation Shelby GT500 was launched at the 2005 New York International Auto Show with a dynamic 5.4 litre supercharged V8 engine. It has Tremec TR-6060 6-speed manual transmission, suspension tuning and sits on 18 inch alloys. It was available in limited numbers for a three year period. A convertible version was also available.
This stunning Shelby GT500 coupé is very well optioned and presented in excellent condition complete with all its books and manuals. A modern muscle car that evokes those glory days. This car was the first late model GT 500 to be converted in Australia by Mustang Motorsport and first registered to its current owner in March 2008.
