One of only 14 examples built with the special Group 4 '874A' type lightweight 'Allegretto' chassis for the 1972 World Championship, chassis #2343 was sold new to racing driver Cazzago (Pooky) who raced extensively throughout the season including the 1000 kms of Monza and also entered for Le Mans that year. In 1973 2343 passed to Moretti and Manfredini of the famed 'MOMO' racing team who continued to campaign the car internationally.
