This 1959 Giullietta Spider, using a 1750 engine, 5 speed transmission and 2 webber carburattors started its restoration in May of 2006 and was completed in October of 2007. A complete record of the restoration is available. This restoration was designed to build a extremely dependable, cosmetically complete automobile that could be used for long distance rally driving or daily use. Accessories include driving/fog lights, an in-dash period radio, heater and cell phone charger/connection mounted under the dash. There is a battery cut-off switch in the trunk. While this automobile is a 1959 model, a 1960 Giulia hood was used to accommodate the upgraded engine and twin Weber carburattors.
