This 360 GT finished 1st in class five times in the 2002 Grand–Am GT race season and 1st in class three times in the 2003 Grand–Am GT race Season. Sponsored by Ferrari of Washington and Girard–Perregaux, 360 GT s/n 2008 utterly dominated the 2002 and 2003 Grand-Am GT Championship seasons, setting a Grand–Am record for most consecutive GT wins.

After the 2003 season, Ferrari of Washington reconditioned s/n 2008. Following Watkins Glen in 2004 360 GT s/n 2008 was repainted and correctly rendered in its “as–raced” livery, then retired. Since retirement from the Grand–Am circuit 2008 has fewer than ten hours of Ferrari Club track time in 2004–2008. The only changes from its “as–raced” condition are the addition of a drink bottle and tube and the removal of 180 pounds of ballast required by Grand–Am to handicap its performance during the 2003 season. Its engine produces 435 BHP at 8,500 RPM and still has the Grand–Am spec intake air restrictors. Comes with a large spares package including a spare engine, two spare gearboxes, numerous spare suspension pieces (springs, bars, shocks), ten wheels and a rear bumper. 360 GT s/n 2008 gives the collector or enthusiast a user–friendly chance to own a significant part of Ferrari’s race history in the US and Canada.
