Beautiful, matching numbers, Series 1 E-type roadster. A rare combination of stunning Opalescent Blue over immaculate red leather. Canadian car since new delivery in Montreal. Older museum quality restoration. Jaguar heritage Certificate.
Sent to Montreal July 19th 1962
First owner Paul Kovace purchased the car from the Jaguar dealer in Montreal in 1962.
The car was sold to the second owner Mr. Beland of Montreal who did a complete restoration of the car in the late 1980's. Purchase date is unknown, the car was incorrectly registered as a 1965.
Louis Lebal purchased the car in 1988. The car was serviced by Mr. Roger Lachance of Services Techniques Lechance INC in Quebec City. Lebal owned the car until it was sold to the next owner in 1996.
In 1996 the car was sold to its 4th owner Mr. Leo Martineau, who did not drive standard. The car spent 9 years in a car museum, Musee Du Domaine, in Quebec.
In August of 2014 the car was purchased by the present owner and transported to BC. Here it was reregistered correctly as a 1962. It was also reunited, after 44 years with another Jaguar OTC, which was produced on the same day. The two "sisters" spent the next year receiving a lot of TLC from Milo's European Car specialists. |
