Named in honor of Ferraris famous private test track, the 599 GTB Fiorano was Ferrari’s front-engined V12 flagship from 2007 to 2012. Thanks to its 5,999 cc V-12 engine derived from the Enzo supercar, the 599 GTB Fiorano offered staggering performance that continued Ferrari’s tradition of front-engined grand touring cars that evolved from the 275 GTB to the 365 GTB/4 Daytona, to the 550 and to the 575 Maranello. Replacing the 575 Maranello, the 599 incorporated the latest in exotic automotive technology including an evolutionarily-improved version of the F1 transaxle, an extruded aluminum chassis (making it 100kg lighter than the Maranello), active aerodynamics (giving 160kg of downforce at 300kph), optional carbon-ceramic brakes and magnetorheological shocks with predictive traction control for state-of-the-art road holding. With an output of 612hp, the 599 GTB Fiorano is capable of 206mph and 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds!

Thanks to its clear bra covering, 599 GTB Fiorano F1 s/n 154628 is in excellent condition. The paintwork is very nice throughout, with the only flaws being a few small chips in the front spoiler. The lower rockers, door edges, fuel filler, side mirrors, front lights, and the entire front end are in exceptionally nice condition. The lights and glass are excellent and the wheels are free of curbing. The interior is also excellent, with almost no appreciable signs of wear. The carpets, leather, and dashboard are excellent, with only minor wear on the driver’s seat bolster. There is no lack of carbon fiber, which is very striking, and covers the dashboard, instrument cluster, center console, the seat backs and sides and the door panels. The switches and controls are like new as well. The engine compartment and the trunk are also very clean and show no wear. The trunk contains the Becker 6-CD changer as well as the manual pack with manuals in their carrying case and the tools in their carrying case. The underside is reflective of the mileage and is mostly covered, in the interest of state-of-the-art aerodynamics.

599 GTB Fiorano F1 s/n 154628 is a well-optioned and extremely clean example of the 599 GTB in the most desirable color combination. The optional carbon fiber extras, the power Daytona seats with red inserts and the contrasting stitching offer a striking and desirable package. When the 599 GTB was introduced a heavily-optioned example with the carbon ceramic brakes was selling for $450,000. 599 GTB Fiorano F1 s/n 154628 has been properly serviced and is in excellent condition throughout. Thanks in part to the introduction of the even-faster, even-more-sophisticated, F12 Berlinetta and the miracle of depreciation, this well-optioned, pride of ownership 599 GTB offers an excellent value at $149,500 or best offer.
