1988 Ferrari 328 GTS
| When Tony Shooshani first saw this 328 GTS, he knew he had to have it. “I’m passionate about the color combination [on this car] because it’s the color scheme of the first Ferrari I owned,” he says, recalling the 328 GTS that started his collecting. He also notes the model’s significance in the mid-engine lineage stretching from the Dino 206 GT to the contemporary 488 GTB.
Completed in October 1987, this GTS is believed to feature its original factory Rosso paintwork and ivory leather interior, and currently displays approximately 15,000 miles. The interior is appointed with an Alpine stereo system and, as a US-spec model, the Ferrari is equipped with a catalytic converter.
Accompanied by a tool kit , the GTS remains a remarkably original and well-maintained example. “I’ve driven many 328s,” Mr. Shooshani says, “and this one in particular, the engine is perfect and the transmission is incredible. It shifts easily, and the car is very clean with low mileage.”
Ideally suited for FCA concours and driving events, this 328 GTS offers the visceral performance and spry handling for which the model is renowned. Mr. Shooshani’s spirited drives confirm the Ferrari’s consistent mechanical upkeep, ensuring a strong driver and future show car for its next caretaker.
