We are pleased to offer 1988 Ferrari Testarossa s/n 77145. From new in excellent original Rosso Corsa FER 300/9 red with very nice original beige leather with a black dash and light brown carpets. This USA model Testarossa comes with an extensive and fully-documented ownership history back to the first owner and the day first sold plus an extremely detailed service history with what we believe are every receipt from new in a loose leaf binder. Comes with the original (not a copy) window sticker (priced at $135,050.00) and all the books including the US model version book, the dealer service book, the consumer information booklet, the radio booklet and the service book with the warranty card, all in their leather carrying pouch. Also comes with the full tool set in their vinyl tool roll, the jack kit and the jack bag with the tow hook. Has the original “thin line” spare wheel and tire. Copies of all service records available by PDF, a no-stories Carfax is on file.

The Testarossa was introduced at the 1984 Paris Auto Show as a formidable competitor to Lamborghini’s Countach thanks, in part, to its all-new 4-valve heads putting out 428 bhp at 6300 rpm. Motivated by the four valve version of Ferrari’s horizontally opposed twelve cylinder engine, the Testarossa was quick and made all the right sounds. Stylistically the Testarossa stunned the world with its avant garde styling. Long, low and wide, the Testarossa appeared even more so thanks to the extensive use of horizontal slatting, a feature that would be replicated both on other Ferraris and on many other lesser cars. Thanks to its user friendly cabin and creature comforts the Testarossa was very plush with leather seats, rear shelf, headliner, and visors. Beneath these striking features was a surprisingly organic and handsome form that remains as arresting today as it was over thirty years ago. The trunk is reasonably sized and the car very comfortable and easy to drive, making it an ideal way to cover long distances at high speeds in comfort. Top speed was good for 180 mph while 0-60 took just 5.2 seconds. Today the Testarossa is undoubtedly the bargain of the flat-12 Ferrari world, offering stunning good lucks, unique styling, acres of torque and effortless performance at a great price!

Testarossa s/n 77145 has just 26,947 miles in total and is in exceptional condition, in keeping with its well documented and well maintained ownership. The paintwork is exceptional and shows very nicely with no noticeable blemishes. The front spoiler is devoid of the damage often seen on other Testarossas with only the usual stone chips one would expect with 26,947 miles. The factory wheels are in very good condition and the Yokohama P225 X 50 X R16 front and P255 X 50 X R16 rear Avid V4S 99V tires are near new. All of the car’s glass and trim remains free of scratches or wear. Panel fit is excellent and the body is straight and true. All sticky-switches and related trim parts are in excellent condition. The dashboard is excellent. The wheels are in excellent condition with no curbing to report. The leather is very clean and supple with very minor surface wear on the left bolster of the driver’s seat and driver’s seat pad. The automatic electrical seat belts work properly and the air conditioning blows cold. The car’s carpets, floor mats and kick-plates all in very good condition. The engine compartment and trunk are immaculate. The front trunk carpet is very clean and shows no wear. The engine compartment is very clean and totally original. Because of its meticulous service history, this extremely well-preserved Testarossa is an all-original and well-kept example.

Testarossa s/n 77145 was most recently serviced only last year in October of 2014 by PN Motors, 255 East 2nd Street, Mineola, NY 11501 and was treated to an engine out service with new cam timing belts, a rebuilt water pump, a new ac belt, a new alternator belt, the valves were set, the cams were degreed and new cam cover gasket and cam seals were installed. Thanks to its books, tools and documentation Testarossa s/n 77145 is a pride of ownership collector car with a fully-documented ownership and service history back to the day it was sold new in July, 1988. Priced right at $135,050 or best offer.
