- Believed to have come from the Cleveland, Ohio, area and had been owned by General Motors or Ford factory machinist who attempted to drive it competitively
- Later sold to Wally Mordenti and George Germond
- Offy motor was removed and the car was stored in a barn where it remained for 30 years
- Several years ago, Gene Angelillo bought the midget to restore as a tribute to his father, whose nickname was Dumos
- Because little was known about its history, it was restored in the current configuration
