Known History

The Fiat 500, popularly called "Mickey Mouse", is undoubtedly among the most famous Italian cars and is the brainchild of Benito Mussolini.

In 1930 the Duce summoned the senator of the Kingdom of Italy Giovanni Agnelli to inform him of the absolute necessity to motorize Italians with a cheap car that did not exceed the cost of 5,000 lire. After years of projects and attempts the final prototype was tested on the road, October 7, 1934; But it only in 1936, in Villa Torlonia, the new "ultra compact car" was presented to the Duce and the Press.

Produced since 1949, the "500 C" represents the 100th car model built by FIAT. To emphasize the important technical innovations, it was decided a noticeable makeover of the body tended to make it more modern. The front was modified cashing the headlights in the wings and the tail disappeared the classic spare wheel exposed, typically pre-war; and from a technical standpoint it was abandoned cast iron for the cylinder head and replaced with aluminum. The production of "Mickey Sedan" ceased in 1954.

This car has had only 5 owners (including the present) and belonged to the former High PodestÓ of Predappio. Since 1998 no longer he changed hands. In 2001 he had the Gold Plaque by ASI. And it has been used for numerous photo shoots weddings and events.
