Bob Norwood's passion for speed and high-performance racing already manifested itself during his teenage years. He holds three records on the salt flats of Bonneville, Utah. He founded Norwood Autocraft Inc. in Dallas, Texas, at the end of the 1970's. The company initially restored vintage Ferrari's, eventually shifting to full car construction, including authentic 1967 Ferrari P-4 replicas which were built as of 1985. Ferrari initially engineered the P4 in 1967 in an attempt to regain the world title it had lost to Ford in 1966. It successfully recaptured the 1967 Manufacturers' Championship and went on to become a revered sports car, winning many notable races. Norwood's manufacturing of the near-perfect Ferrari P4 replicas continues today. This car has original Ferrari mechanical elements and knock-off wheels.
