With a chassis number that falls in the range of the first 348s, the Ferrari 328 presented here is one of the very last examples produced. Finished in the classic combination of Rosso Corsa with a beige leather interior, 82103 was imported new into Switzerland through the official agent Importation Ferrari (Suisse) S.A. of Nyon and supplied to Walo Schibler’s Garage de Moncor S.A. of Villars-sur-Glâne. On 1st August, 1989 the car was delivered to its first owner, Mr. Kurt Wyss. A gastronome from Lyss, Switzerland, Wyss had the car road registered but instead stored it in his garage, intending to preserve one of the last Ferraris that was designed and launched in Enzo Ferrari’s lifetime. The car remained hidden for almost twelve years until the summer of 2001 when, after merely 1,750 kilometres, Wyss brought it back to life. In August 2001, Walo Schibler’s Symbol Automobiles S.A. of Matran performed the timing belt replacement and on 17 September, 2001 the 328 GTS was re-registered in the name of Kurt Wyss’ wife, Ursula Wyss-Fuss. She drove it sparingly for approximately 200 kilometres between 2001 and 2004, as the small booklet for the mandatory regular Swiss emission controls reveals.

Shortly thereafter the as-new 328 GTS changed hands, becoming part of the small collection of Erwin Muilwijk, a Dutchman residing in Zofingen, Switzerland. Owned by Muilwijk’s company Hyla Ltd., the car was never road registered in his name. In January 2007, 82103 was sold to Giuseppe Vitali, an Italian restaurateur in Munich’s posh Grünwald suburb. He, too, regarded this extraordinarily well preserved 328 GTS as a piece of art rather than a sports car and drove it only 300 to 400 kilometres. Acquired more recently by the vendor, 82103 has covered a total of 2,380 kilometres from new. It looks, feels and smells new and is a true time capsule in every regard.

This is a very rare opportunity for the discerning Ferrari collector to acquire one of the last examples from the Enzo Ferrari era in essentially in the same condition as the day it left the factory almost 20 years ago.
