After the Mangusta, a very nice car in terms of design, but suffering from a weak chassis, Alessandro De Tomaso launched the Pantera in 1971. It is the car that really put De Tomaso on the map. The agreement with Ford dating back from the Mangusta, allowed De Tomaso to put the new 351 ci V8 cleveland in the Pantera. The car could then serioulsy compete with the Porsche and Ferrari thanks to striking performances. In 1973, the GTS version is even faster thanks to a 350 HP upgrade of the Cleveland 351 and many other enhancements aiming to make the car sportier.

The car we offer is a 1973 GTS, the most sought after. It is a euro version fitted with the 350 HP 351ci V8. The history of this car is known back from 1986. It has been fully restored in 1991 and has only been driven 14.000 Km since. The body has been stripped down to bare metal and resprayed in yellow (the car was originally red). The mecanical components have also been restored.
The car is presently in superb condition and works like it should. The paint and the interior are superb. The car is equipped with 3 pieces Gotti wheels.

This superb Pantera is available in France with a french registration.
