Sold: £8,325

The first generation of the Boxster whose visual appearance was heavily inspired by the Porsche Spyder and Speedster as well as the Porsche 550 Spyder.

In the Boxster the flat six engine is placed in a mid-engine configuration as opposed to the rear-engine placement in all 911s. The combination of the powerful flat six mid-engine layout provides a low centre of gravity, smoothness throughout the rev range, near perfect weight distribution and neutral handling characteristics.

With just two owners from new this attractive metallic green Boxster is fitted with the rare and desirable electric folding roof. With air conditioning, twin air bags, electric black leather seats, CD radio, wind deflector, security locking wheel nuts and the often underestimated vent mounted cup holders; the car is well equipped and also benefits from a 24 hour Lifetime Tracker system and traction control.

Contained within the substantial history file are old tax discs and all old MoT test certificates which verify the mileage at 45,500 miles from new. There is also an extensive service history from AFN and Porsche Guildford as well as numerous bills and history. The battery has just been replaced and an MoT test certificate valid until April 2010 is contained in the file along with the owner’s pack, complete with a full complement of booklets and second set of keys.

With a purchase invoice from Sunningdale Motors less than a year ago for £9,000, this fantastic little 2.5 litre Porsche offers great value for money and is being sold without reserve.
