In 1951, the price of a Standard Steel Mark VI was 2.595 GBP. The price of this Mulliner bodies Mark VI was 4.230 GBP. In total there were built 4.000 Bentley Mark VI, 4 1/4 litre (including 832 with coachbuilt bodies) and 1.202 Bentley Mark VI, 4 1/2 litre (including 180 with coachbuilt bodies).

This Bentley Mark VI Lightweight Sport Saloon was delivered on 16 August 1951 to Mr Naylor, director of W.J. Naylor (Painting Contractors) Ltd. in Filton, Bristol, Great Britain. The car is fitted with the H.J. Mulliner body which was also displayed at the 1950 Earls Court Motor Show (and which is the base for the later Bentley S-Series). The car was has some original features like the Coachbuilt bumpers (which are also described in the logfile of the car). The car stayed with Mr Naylon until 1988 when it was sold to a Belgium Baron. He kept the car until 2000. Then it was sold to the Hans Bezemer collection.

The car is in orignial condition. It has a lot of patina and looks very nice. The bumpers are replaced, engine has been checked. Also the interior is original, including the original "His Master's Voice" which is still working!
