The name Porsche and the number 356 stands for a success story that is probably unique in Germany. The Type 356 is Porsche's first series model and has been further improved during its production period.

The last and most popular development stage is the SC model, with 95 hp engines ex works was produced in the years 1963 to 1965. The vehicle is the only one equipped with disc brakes ex works, what makes the braking much more easier.

This Porsche left the factory in Stuttgart Zuffenhausen on February 2nd , 1964 to Raffay & Co to Hamburg / Germany. The first owner was Peter Jüngst, who lived in West Hollywood.

It seems that he was a German living in the USA but stayed in Germany until September 1964 as the Kardex card mentioned a repair in September 1964.

The 356 was reimported to Italy 2009 and received an extensive restoration.

Each weld point and each fold is very original. The underbody is in an extremely good state It seems the car always stayed in sunny California. The engine and many components of the technology are overhauled.

Also the interior is in a flawless condition. The body gaps, the paint in the original color “signalrot” and most of the chrome trim are in original condition.

According to the Kardex Card, the vehicle is "matching-numbers". The car represents, from its state, a unique collector's item. Interior and the engine had been restored by the present owner to perfection.
