Total Production for the 1960 300F consisted of 964 hard tops and 248 convertibles or 1212 total units. Of those produced, and as of May 2001, there are 275 hardtops that are known to exist and only 75 convertibles; a total of only 350 surviving cars. Of those 350, 23 have been junked out, leaving a total of only 327 surviving cars.

This car has had only 3 California Owners it entire life. The car was originally purchased at San Fernando Valley Motors in May-June of 1960. Its second owner had the car from 1962 until 1986 and its third and current owner has had this wonderful car ever since.

Restoration was started on the car in May of 1994 and was completed about one year later. The car was professionally repainted to its original color and the leather was replaced with the correct hides. Chrome that needed refinishing was done, though most of the chrome on the car is original and in near perfect condition. Most every component on the car is original to THIS car; including all of the glass. This car is in remarkable original condition, perhaps one of the most original of any 300F's known to exist. The factory air was a very rare option to these cars as are the manual seats that also swivel outwardward.

The original Golden Lion 413 Long ram engine received a complete overhaul at the time of restoration and was bored to 426CI. Power out-put is estimated at an approximate 400hp. The transmission was overhauled as well and is a special built torqueflight three-speed. The drive train has 10,000 miles since and has been lovingly cared for and serviced. There are NO leaks from any part of the car and no rust or corrosion. The car has never been hit or damaged.

This is a stunning example of the 1960 300F that truly is a turn-key car and perhaps one of the best examples to be found anywhere!
