The Alfa Giulietta Spider was introduced in 1955 and offered brisk performance of nearly 100 mph with its 1290cc Dual Overhead Cam Inline 4 cylinder engine, wrapped in a unibody chassis weighing less than 1,900 pounds. They are fast, agile and today share the road at many vintage racing events with Porsche 356's of the era. In such events, the Alfa Giulietta can certainly hold its own.

Over the past five years many upgrades to this largely original car have been made. It has been documented by Alfa Romeo and is a numbers-matching, factory-correct car.

The original engine and drivetrain were completely rebuilt to factory specifications by noted Alfa specialist and long time racer, Dennis Pillar. This included bearings, pistons, valves and guides. The Weber carburetor was rebuilt, as was the transmission, along with a new clutch assembly. All mechanicals are in excellent condition and it runs and drives without fault.

The car was recently re-painted, re-upholstered and carpeted in correct color and style. It was fitted with new radial tires and a new battery. It includes a spare wheel and tire and correct jack. It is ready for the road!

It drives wonderfully with tight handling, plenty of power (and a great exhaust note). Just in time for the touring season, this is one that can be enjoyed now.Start your engine
