For 1941, Cadillac embraced numerous changes to its cars. Consolidation was going on at GM, and Cadillac graciously joined the movement, blending some styling cues with lesser GM marques while adding its own elements to stand apart from the family. As cars began to resemble one another a little more closely, Bill Mitchell, a young designer at GM, worked hard at modernizing Cadillac and adding a bit of distance by design from the other brands. His work on the 1938 Cadillac was a smash hit. As Cadillac was GM’s prestige marque, it was universally agreed that it should be given a little extra attention. The 1941 was another rousing success. It became an iconic design, and still today is considered to be one of the most recognized and significant cars built by Cadillac. This 1941 Sedan features a body by Fisher and more modern updated interior. Complete modern Cadillac drivetrain, air conditioning, power steering, power windows, tilt wheel, etc..... It's like driving a newer car!
