1972 CHEVROLET CORVETTE STINGRAY $34,995.00
These third generation C3 Model Corvettes seem to get better looking with every day that passes. The styling is fantastic and this being a 1972 is the last year for the chrome bumpers. American Convertible’s were becoming a dying bread and Corvettes were no exception. Production was down to a measly 6,508 cars for 1972.The information we have shows this car to have had only two owners in the last 31 years. The engine appears to be a matching number 350 Cubic inch V8 with 360 lbs./ft. of Torque. The casting number is 3970010, Date Code L1561, Engine pad 12S510778 (the last numbers of the VIN) and V1220CKX, rear end code is AW with 3.08:1 Posi traction. Previous to the most recent owner the car went through a frame off restoration with a rebuilt drive line and suspension, new vacuum lines and exhaust. Options include factory Air Conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, updated to leather deluxe interior, tilt and telescopic steering column and factory AM/FM Radio. The restoration still shows nicely but has more than 10 years on its life, the paint is overall very good, with only some minor paint chip touchups. It has the correct trim rings and centre caps on the Rally wheels. This is a wonderful driver with a great look and presence to it.
Finished in Bryar Blue (945) and Dark Blue Leather Interior (412) and White Convertible Top.
