| I'm selling this rare single item because I want to reduce my collection, not because I have to.
NEW: The techical chec §57a wich licences the vehicle for the road for two years approved by the ARBÖ, one of the two big austrian automobil clubs.
In the ‘50s Zagato built two Spiders onto an Alfa Romeo 1900 CSS Chassis. One disapeared without a trace, the other still exists with the same owner for at least 40 years, perhaps longer.
Three reconstructions of this kind are known. In fact mine was built onto the Chassis of a Touring Coupe in the 60ies (Chassis number known).
The car which was not drivable when I bought it is in my posession since 2010. It got a total engine overhaul a new radiator was built in total gearbox overhaul the steering (gemmer) is renewed The complete undercarriage is renewed The complete brakesystem is renewed rear axle is overhauld new springs were built in It got genuine Borranis and for a better and faster performance the Alfa got two Weber carburetors
Now it is a reliable driving car: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z25u__5VqnQ&t=43s
Should a buyer want a perfekt car it had to be lackered new (which would be a shame, in my opinion)
