This VCC dated Talbot 12 hp 4CBX model with chassis number 7389 and engine number 192, was sent from the factory in chassis form to Australia where it was bodied by Kellow and Falkiner of Melbourne. It appears to be remarkably original as, apart from having had its seats releathered and being recently rewired, everything else looks as though it is probably correct and in very good order. The four cylinder engine, which is mated to a four speed and reverse gearbox, starts very easily and sounds just lovely. This is an attractive light sporting Edwardian car which was built to very high engineering standards. It drives well, steers well, stops well and looks the part so is ideal for rallies and Edwardian car events wherever you are.
