This elegant, Corsica bodied 4 ½ Litre short chassis special was owned by Bentley Drivers Club stalwart Forrest Lycett, who commissioned the famous 'Mac' McKenzie to create a light, fast car suitable for both racing and touring. Lycett competed regularly throughout the 1930's at Brooklands and Shelsley Walsh as well as at both the Brighton and Lewes speed trials. Post war, Lycett averaged over 90mph for the flying ¾ mile at Silverstone, offering today the opportunity to acquire a significant Bentley with a long and well documented competition record including pre-war competition history at Brooklands.
