Built by Alan Johnson of Johnson's Hot Rod Shop. Alan's achievements include Street Rod Builder of the Year, Don Ridler Award, Good Guys Trendsetter, Daimler Chrysler Design Award and many others. This 1933 Ford Alloway Speedster is powered by a fuel injected LT1 Chevrolet engine mated to 460LE automatic transmission. It has 9" Currie rear end and a Heidt's Mustang II front end with polished A-arms. Bringing all of this to a stop are disc brakes on all 4 corners. Rolling on Boyd Coddington custom polished wheels wrapped with BF Goodrich tires. Gauge cluster on custom dash is by Pete & Jake's. Beautiful custom tan leather interior by Paul Atkin's Interiors. Other features include a power lift trunk, hidden switches, tilt steering and a rear facing camera. Formerly owned by Robert Peterson, founder of Hot Rod Magazine and the Peterson Automotive Museum.
