The "Osso di Seppia" (cuttlefish bone) Spiders, also known as boat-tail, long-tail and round-tail Spiders entered production in 1966 with the 1600 engined "Duetto". The Duetto was replaced in 1968 with the 1750 Spider Veloce, which evolved into the "Kamm-tail" or short-tail 1750 Spider Veloce in 1970.

This original RHD long-tail Spider was imported from S Africa in 2000 and has a recorded 34,000 miles on the clock.
