Known History

Mercedes-Benz has always had a tradition for big coupes. In a more sporty and elegant trim than that of a sedan, these coupes featured four proper seats, as well as the best engines from the range and very high performance. The 560 SEC with its classic design provides for real driving pleasure. Under the hood is an authentic GT that will make you forget your best manners, when the torque of that phenomenal V8, matched with amazing flexibility, is ready to respond to the slightest tap of the throttle pedal. The phenomenal performance has given this model the justifiable reputation of being an indefatigable devourer of motorways.

The car on offer was purchased by its current owner in 1986 from the Mercedes-Benz dealership MASA.As confirmed by the order book form from the period, it was delivered in February 1987, and featured a sober livery of silver ash, complemented by a black leather interior. As regards options, apart from the many standard equipment, it has the rare on-board computer, as well as a sunroof. Always used sparingly, the odometer today displays just 22,116 km since new, and and the car in a superb state of conservation. The best examples of the 560 SECs are now much sought after, and this one, with its exceptionally low mileage and its beautiful history, is easily amongst the most desirable.
