Known History

A remarkably original example of Enzo Ferrari's favourite car. First registered in 1964, this European spec, quad-highlight car has been stored for over thirty years in a private storage facility in Austria. Recommissioned by us and fully driveable, with 109,800 kilometres on the clock, it would form the basis for an exciting daily driver.

A 1964 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Series 1 featuring the quad-headlight set up that was unique to this series. Built to European specification, the car is left-hand drive and, although refinished in red at some time, was originally silver with a black leather interior and carpets.

This is the Ferrari that Enzo Ferrari loved most, in fact it was his choice of car for everyday use and it's easy to see why. The Ferrari 330 GT was an exceptional 2+2 Grand Tourer that oozed Ferrari's passion for flair and design: it's powerful and fast yet spacious, comfortable and incredibly practical.

The Ferrari 330 GT replaced the Ferrari 250 GTE and featured a larger 4.0-litre, front-mounted V12 engine and four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Production of the Ferrari 330 ran from 1964 to 1967 during which time a number of variants were offered including the Series 1 and Series 2 2+2s, the GTC, a two-seat Berlinetta, and the very rare GTS.

This car is something of a 'barn find' as it has sat, unused, in a private storage facility in Austria since 1987. The car's original Austrian log book shows the car was sold new to Ralf Kuach on the 28 September 1964, the car being delivered to him on the 26 February 1965. It then changed hands four times until it was purchased by its last owner in 1987 who then placed it in storage.

We've carried out a full inspection of the car: it's both very original and in excellent condition throughout. We would be delighted to share our inspection report with a prospective buyer

This is a very rare opportunity to own an affordable classic sixties' Ferrari.
