The story of the Ferrari Daytona is a well-known one which is nonetheless recounted elsewhere amongst these pages. In the word of one enthusiast, 'There is no greater adrenalin pump'. With its brutally aggressive yet somehow classically elegant lines, and such a wonderful 4.4 litre four-cam V12 under its bonnet, there was nothing that could challenge it when new and precious little that can do so today. True, such cars have never been that easy to drive or particularly practical to use regularly, but then again the best things in life always demand a little more commitment. Indeed a motor car such as the Daytona, once mastered, can provide thrills beyond its owner's wildest expectations.

This very well presented example of what is currently one of the most sought after 12 cylinder Ferrari's is presented in the traditional colours of Rosso Corsa with black leather interior and is resplendent on chrome wire wheels. In addition to the car's obvious superb condition throughout it should be noted that the car also benefits as the engine in the car has been rebuilt comprehensively and has covered less than 400 kms since this work was undertaken. Consequently the engine on the car is effectively brand new and just about run in. And when the potential costs associated with such important work are considered, every Ferrari connoisseur will understand that this adds considerable value to the car and equally as these considerable works have been completed any interested parties can rest assured that such work need not be done again in the near future.
