Here we have a real piece of Australian motor racing history. This 1954 TR2 was purchased new and raced extensively by the legendary Doug Whiteford, three times winner of the Australian Grand Prix.

This actual car raced at Gnoo Blas in the South Pacific Road Racing Championships in 1955. The Moomba Tourist Trophy for Sportscars, wining in spectacular style. Later in June Doug competed in the Rob Roy hillclimb in Victoria and was the fastest of four TR2's at this event.

This car comes with extensive racing history to the present and whilst in very original condition, it is also fighting fit and ready for action. The car is CAMS eligible and would make a great historic road and circuit racer. This really is a once in lifetime opportunity for the true enthusiast.
