This Fiat 1500 is a convertible model from 1965. It is a series 3 motorized by the 1500 Fiat and not OSCA.
This model is presented in a red livery associated with a black leather inside. This combination of elegant and sober color brings to this 1500 convertible the most desirable aspect. This vehicle is in the hands of his current owner since 2011 and although its use is regular, very few kilometers were traveled with. Always maintained and followed by his owner since its purchase, very rare works were made, it is due to the fact that this vehicle was in a very beautiful condition and maintenance during its first acquisition. Its inside and its paint are little polished and the vehicle has been stored in a closed and dry garage since 2011.
The frame, very healthy, does not present tracks of corrosion, just like the bay engine. Our road test revealed a very good behavior, first of all in town, where the evolutions to low diet did not hamper at all the functioning of engine, very supple, and the paved streets allowed us to confirm the very good form of the suspensions. The clutch sticks very well, and although its race is very long, it did not disturbs the conduct of this Italian convertible.
A phase on bigger roads allowed us to take up the engine in tours to insure us of the smooth running of the latter and its gearings up are made in a very linear way, smoothly and without any trouble. The passage of ratios as well as the rétrogradages are soft and the engine does not suffer from more virile rétrogradages.
This Fiat 1500 Convertible associates Italian charm and lines of Pininfarina with a pleasant and funny behavior without being very sporty. It is about a very beautiful compromise for an enthusiast avid to obtain a vehicle of origin, easy of maintain and getting real sensations of driving.
