Virtually every offering of the Lancia Company from the days of Vincenzo Lancia to the Fiat takeover in modern times, exemplified interesting and unconventional engineering, clothed with the best of avant-garde coachwork. The Fulvia series of the 60s and early 70s exemplify this perfectly; the design brief to create a front wheel drive platform with completely neutral handling characteristics was fully realised. All the versions of the body, saloon and coupe were well balanced and light in appearance, but undoubtedly the most exotic of the road going versions was the Zagato Coupe. Indeed some of the styling cues have been seen recently in motor show specials by Zagato for Alfa Romeo.

The aluminium bodied Zagato model on sale today is described as being in very good all round condition and "ready to go". It has benefited from a recent engine overhaul and is supplied with Dutch registration documents. It is finished in a very elegant shade of Lancia blue combined with a white interior and should appeal to anyone looking for a useable and extremely attractive little sports coupe, with the added bonus of rarity.
