AutoSport 2007 Auction, The NEC - Birmingham UK, Saturday 13th January 2007
| Estimate: £2,000-5,000
Sold: £17,000 Built in 1969 to compete in the very popular 'Clubmans' race car series by the Conrad Brothers who worked for Gem Marsh of Marcos fame. This exciting new car departed from the normal 'Mallock' stereotype by using a twin chassis design where the body is suspended on the rigid chassis by coil springs and damper units. Colin Chapman indeed hailed this as a new invention on his Lotus 88 F1 car built in 1979, some 10 years later! The car is superbly engineered and using the best components available at the time including a Ford 'Holbay' built 1300 race engine, dry sump with twin Dellorto's, rocket box race clutch and brakes. As well as an 'A' series fully located back end. The car was successful in period and has not been used for many years due to the brother's demise and offers an inexpensive entry into the very popular classic clubmans series of racing, hillclimbs and sprints.
