Henry Ford had one issue with the original Model T Ford: the results in races were disappointing. He wanted the T Ford to win the Indianapolis 500. That’s why he contacted the young Louis Chevrolet to modify his model T for racing. In the years 1911-12 the first Ford T Frontenac were built. Only 50 models of this kind were ever produced.

Mechanical components, accessory equipement and construction methods are authentic from the 1912 Frontenac “Full speed overland racer” Factory built by A. and L. Chevrolet Indianapolis IND. U.S.A.
