Known History

This car was ordered by a Norwegian coal mine owner in 1909. The car was delivered to Norway as a new car in 1911. Ever since then the car remained with the same family till recently!!! In the late 50's and early 60's the car was very carefully partially restored and repainted. The wood, the interior and the chassis on this vehicle are in an excellent condition. However, the paint has some very small defects, which may require some minor attention in the future. In the late 80's the car was converted with an electric starter, an electronic ignition and a electric fuel pump. However, all the original parts remained in the vehicle at the time of conversion (magneto, air pump for the fuel tank etc). These "modern" change overs certainly help in the ease of operation with this vehicle. Other then that the vehicle remains completely original, just like it was delivered in 1911. To the best of our knowledge it is one of 4 NSU's left from the time period 1906 till 1919!!! That alone makes this vehicle extremely rare. And it is certainly the most original vehicle left of this time period, an outstanding piece of automobile history!! Please inquire for further information. World wide shipping is available.
