When Ransom Eli Olds left the Oldsmobile Company he was not allowed to use his name in any future car manufacturing venture but no-one said anything about not using his initials hence REO! This very well restored car has an impressive four cylinder "inlet over exhaust" engine giving lots of useable power. It also has one of the nicest gearboxes I have ever encountered on a car of this period, indeed one passenger was so impressed by the changes he asked if it had synchromesh! It also has very good brakes and steering so you can use the performance in safety and comfort. A close examination of the car reveals a lot of very high quality engineering which is very typical of many American cars of this period. This is almost certainly why they are popular with knowledgeable enthusiasts and also why they are very good value for money as they often sell for less than their European equivalents (for absolutely no good reason in my humble opinion!).
The only way to appreciate this splendid car is to come and see it for yourself.
