The Ferves Ranger was introduced at the 1966 Turin Motor Show. The car was an attractive looking and extremely compact all-terrain vehicle. The rear-mounted engine came from the Fiat 500 and delivered 18bhp, the all independent suspension came from the Fiat 600D. The Ranger was available in a 2WD and a 4WD version. The open bodywork featured a folding windscreen, and could seat four passengers.
The Ferves was styled by Carlo Ferrari, and its name is derived from the abbreviation of FERrari VEicoli Speciali (Ferrari Special Vehicles)
This example was delivered to its first Italian owner in 1968 and one of 600 made, of which only 50 are believed to survive. Finished in orange with black interior, this car has the two-wheel drive configuration and comes with a Dutch registration.
