Bentley R-Type, year 1953.

Colour Gun metal grey metallic combined with a dark red full-leather interior and dark red wool carpet. This magnificent Bentley R-Type was sold by imparts to the last owner over a decade ago.

Over this period the car was given beautiful new paint and it was serviced and maintained beautifully. The automobile is in super original and very good condition!

All the original details are still present, including a factory original sliding roof.

The original interior shows some signs of use and age; A desirable patina for 67 years of age.

The car handles, steers, shifts and brakes properly and the 4.25 Litre straight-six engine runs very smooth.

The four-speed manually operated gearbox was overhauled.

A very nice post war Bentley in a very good condition inside and out.

Only 2320 examples were hand built by the craftspeople in Crewe.
