A superbly original Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Series 1 Coupe. This car was supplied to its first owner in Long Beach, California on the 6th 1968. We have acquired it from its second owner, who bought the car in 1970 and kept it for nearly 50 years! This E-Type is in superb original and nearly unaltered state. It also has been extremely well documented from day 1. It has the original car-wallet containing the guarantee certificate, first registration documents and the owner’s manuals. The lovely original bodywork is sound. In the past it was re-sprayed in the authentic colour. The almost fully authentic interior trim has a nice patina. This Jaguar is pretty much as it came out the factory with its original, matching numbers, 4.2 engine and finished in beige with a tan leather interior. It naturally comes with a Jaguar Heritage certificate as well as its original guarantee certificate confirming every single parts number. These days an original unrestored E-Type is more difficult to find than a restored example. Let’s face it; a car is only an original once! Super originele Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Series 1 Coupe. Deze Jaguar E-Type is nieuw geleverd in Long Beach, Californië op 6 januari 1968 en afkomstig van tweede eigenaar. In 1970 werd de auto verkocht aan haar tweede eigenaar die de auto bijna 50 jaar in bezit heeft gehad! Uniek! Deze E-Type verkeert in een super originele en haast onaangeroerde conditie. De auto is uitzonderlijk goed gedocumenteerd vanaf dag één. Zo is zelfs de originele boordmap aanwezig met daarin het originele garantiebewijs, eerste registratie documenten en instructieboekjes. Het chassis is hard en origineel. De carrosserie is mooi, solide en origineel met de correcte passingen. In het verleden is de E-Type omwille van cosmetische redenen opnieuw gespoten in haar originele kleur. Het interieur is grotendeels origineel en heeft een fraai patina. Deze Jaguar E-Type is zoals ze destijds uit de fabriek kwam, ze beschikt over haar originele 'matching numbers' 4.2 motor en is uitgevoerd in haar originele kleurstelling 'Beige' exterieur met 'Tan' interieur. Uiteraard is deze Jaguar E-Type door Jaguar Heritage gecertificeerd. Daarnaast is ook het originele garantiebewijs aanwezig waarop alle nummers nogmaals worden bevestigd. Een originele ongerestaureerde E-Type is vandaag de dag zeldzamer dan een gerestaureerd exemplaar, gezien de leeftijd van de auto is het zeer bijzonder dat ze zo origineel is gebleven. Het is ook het resultaat van een goede verzorging gedurende haar hele leven. Een volledig gerestaureerde E-Type is niet lastig te vinden. Een E-Type die grotendeels origineel is des te lastiger.
