Known History

Registered on October 8, 1956, the Fiat 600 on offer is one of the very early examples produced, identifiable by their specific characteristics: sliding front windows, suicide doors, indicators on the front fenders, three-bar radiator grille, bumpers without over-riders, small wheel trims on chrome wheels. Only side indicators have been added to the original equipment of the 600 on offer. Not only is this the most sought-after version of this iconic Italian model from the 1950s and 1960s, but this Fiat 600 has a remarkable history. It was retained by its first owner for almost 60 years, before its second owner acquired it in 2015. He carried out a comprehensive restoration of the car, both cosmetic and mechanical. It was the third and last owner who completed the rebuilding of the engine, including changing the timing chain and pistons, and re-boring the cylinders. The clutch has also been replaced, as were the four tires recently. In “Azzurro Cenere“ shade combined with a hounds tooth fabric interior, this 600 has a certain charm. This restored car is in a good condition and is ready to drive. Moreover, it is a car that qualifies for the Mille Miglia!
