Known History

Trailblazer in the luxury four-wheel drive cars, the Range Rover was revolutionary by synthesizing the qualities of efficient, comfortable and fast off-roading, thanks to a powerful V8.

The model on offer left the factory in 1974 before being registered in Bari, Italy, as evidenced by the copy of its first registration document. Its current owner, seduced by its elegant original Tuscan blue colour, purchased it in Italy and then entrusted it to the renowned specialist ONLY LAND for a complete restauration in accordance with its original configuration and documented by an extensive photo file. This meticulous restoration from the chassis totals €68.000 of invoices: chassis, running gear, engine, gearbox, bodywork, wiring system... nothing has been omitted, while making reliable the elements that required it. The upholstery has been redone in leatherette in its original “Palomino“ colour. An expert's report carried out in December 2019, when this resurrection was completed, underlines a professional work carried out with technical meticulousness. The result has not lost any of its lustre since then, as only a hundred kilometres have been covered. A particularly sought-after and iconic first version, this example offers one of the most desirable original colour combinations and an exceptional state of presentation. Now it's up to the new owner to take advantage of this real milestone in the history of the automobile.
