Known History

This car was sold new, by Sport Garage, to a Swiss resident in February 1987. It was bought a few years ago by an important collector based at the Côte d'Azure, when it belonged to a collector from Southern Germany. The car had a little more than 50,000km on the odometer and the service logbook testifies to the various interventions carried out on the car, in particular by Sport Garage. It has since been stored in a healthy garage and has been cared by a permanent mechanic, but the owner is parting with it because he does not use it enough. Two years ago, it underwent an engine overhaul at the Autohaus Gohm garage, which specializes in Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini, based in Singen, Germany. A folder of photos and invoices provide details of the work done.

Red in color, with light beige leather interior, this car shows a little more than 57,350km on the odometer, and is in a good condition. This is one of the first versions of the Testarossa, known as “monospechio“ because it comes with a single exterior mirror, quite high, on the driver's side. For convenience, it happened that the buyer asked the dealer to install a second mirror, as was the case with this car. Sold with its service logbooks, it is a car which is both collectible for its design and for its dynamic qualities, as well as that wondrous engine.
