Known History

At the end of the 1980s, Mercedes-Benz decided to slip in the 326bhp 5L V8 of the 500SL into a body of E-Class and entrusted Porsche with the development of the chassis and the production of the legendary 500E. The one on offer is particularly well-preserved, it was registered on October 20, 1994, delivered new by the Mercedes Car Due SpA dealership in Verona, Italy. Still in its original shade, the car sports a beautiful “Brilliant Silver Metallic,“ combined with an all-leather interior in grey Alpaca and is notably equipped with heated electric seats, automatic air-conditioning and a Hi-Fi system, as well as an electrically adjustable steering wheel. Its history is clear and it has so far had only four owners. Delivered new to a company, it was then owned by an important Italian family from 1998 to 2019, before its current owner bought it, after being attracted by the car's state of conservation. It was stored between 2004 and 2019, which also explains why its odometer shows only over 115,000 km today. In very good condition, this E500 has been cared for regularly, as can be seen by its service booklet. It also benefited in 2019 from a comprehensive service worth € 6,000 and was fully inspected on this occasion. Additionally, its four Bridgestone Turanza tires are new. It will be sold with its folder containing all the manuals, and its follow-up invoices, its tool kit and double set of keys. It is certainly one of the most desirable examples on the market today.
