Known History

This very beautiful Mercedes 600 SL, which has known only one owner, was registered in Germany on December 28, 1992 as evidenced by the accompanying purchase invoice. Flagship of the range within the R129 convertibles, it is powered by a sublime V12 engine developing no less than 394bhp, and mated to an automatic transmission. Our example, in its metallic black color with beige interior, is in excellent condition. Carefully used, its odometer shows just 58,000km from new, and it has been regularly maintained; the last was carried out very recently. The tires are new and the car is ready to hit the road. The interior equipment is particularly well equipped with automatic air conditioning, cruise control, fully electric and heated seats, as well as the anti-swirl net and the Becker “Mexico 2000“ radio. All the logbooks, duplicate keys and standard equipment, such as the first aid kit and the spare tire, have been retained. This first-hand car, with very reasonable mileage and in a very nice original state, is increasingly rare on the market. The “SL“ line at Mercedes has always had a special place and this 600 SL version has become highly collectible.
