Known History

The Beetle on offer is a 1200 J, which has the distinction of having been assembled by the Yugoslavian Volkswagen factory in Sarajevo that explains the “J”, for “Jugoslavia“ model designation. It was registered in 1975 and has remained in the same family since then. Its original livery combines cream paintwork with a black leatherette and fabric interior. In good condition, its counter now displays a moderate mileage of just over 78,589km, original, of course. It remained in Yugoslavia until 1998, before moving to Monaco where it is still today, registered as a collector's vehicle. It was regularly maintained as testify the stamps on its service logbook, and the many invoices in the folder that you are encouraged to consult. Well preserved, it is also equipped with its original car radio and its manuals. Beetles are extremely popular and only few examples have such a history and good maintenance. Thus, it's a car of choice for any serious collector wishing to acquire a legendary car with fine pedigree.
