Known History

Launched in 1968, this new Citroën was atypical in the range and did not replace any precise model, but met a need, which was both utility and leisure. Its mechanicals were taken from the Dyane 6, as well as the platform and its economical and robust 602cc flat twin-cylinder. Fun and practical, its ABS plastic body was washable with water, it did not corrode and required minimum maintenance. Over time, the Méhari became one of the most trendy and popular beach cars ever. The one on offer was registered on April 27, 1983 and has the advantage of having a four-seater Monegasque registration. Its current owner acquired it in 2016 through a Monaco-based specialist. It had been fully restored with the replacement of many body parts with new ones. It has since been used sparingly, if you judge by the condition and drivability. Its white and navy blue colors are reminiscent of the restorations carried out by the Mehari Club of Cassis, whose reputation is well established. Completely restored and ready for use, this Méhari, offered without reserve, will give you a taste of the unique joys of this car which has become an icon far beyond Saint-Tropez..
