Known History

Tradition and innovation : the 993 Carrera 4 was a highly successful synthesis of the two. With its neo-retro allure, it was the last Porsche to have the brilliant air-cooled engine, combined with a modern and safe integrated transmission.

The example on offer is an attractive cabriolet version presented in the sought-after colour combination of metallic black with black leather interior and matching hood. It also has the desirable 6-speed manual gearbox. Delivered new on 24 July 1995 to Quebec, as its manual confirms, the car was bought in 1998 by the current owner, a collector from Monaco, when it had covered just 30 000 km. The clock stands at just over 85 000 km today, and the file of invoices show that it has been maintained within the Porsche network in the South of France, notably by the excellent Porsche Centre in Fréjus. In well-conserved condition, this 993 comes with optional sports seats, Alpine CD radio and all its books. An opportunity to enjoy a modern car that has already established itself as a collector's item.
