1975 Volkswagen Beetle 1200, original Dutch delivery. The car has had a thorough cosmetic restoration in the last 3 years and has recently passed technical inspection (APK until 06/2022).

The red paintwork is in beautiful condition. The paint system has been rebuilt from bare metal, with epoxy primer and a 2K high gloss paint. The registration document shows that the car's original colour was yellow.

The underside is solid, but could use some further detailing and underbody protection. Few traces of welding and everything looks professionally done.

Technically the car has had a major service check up. Well running and driving, tight steering car. The brake pedal has a large free stroke and needs to be adjusted. The brakes do work well, as confirmed at the mandatory technical inspection. Also, the bonnet spring needs to be adjusted correctly (bonnet does not stay open).

The finish of the interior may still be improved. The front seats come from a VW Golf, while the back seat is upholstered with beautiful Pascha fabric. The headliner is still original and can be cleaned and fixed a bit better. Non-original sports steering wheel, period original ATS star wheels.

All in all this is a very nice and well driving Beetle, with some room for minor improvements.
